Greg is our dedicated Asset Manager with a passion for real estate and a proven track record in the industry. With his extensive background in commercial real estate brokerage within the San Diego market, Greg brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Greg's journey in real estate began with his Bachelor's degree in Commercial Real Estate, which he earned from the University of San Diego. During his time at USD, Greg focused on real estate finance, market analysis, & legal aspects, developing a deep understanding of the intricacies of the field.
After graduating, Greg embarked on a career in commercial brokerage, specializing in the sale of retail and office properties. His time spent working in San Diego's real estate market honed his negotiation skills and provided him with an intricate understanding of property values, market trends, and client needs. As our Asset Manager, Greg will leverage his expertise to optimize the performance of Catalyst Commercial multifamily properties, ensuring they achieve their full potential. His strategic vision, coupled with his hands-on approach, will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our real estate investments.

Upon graduating from College in 2013, Rich Hamilton joined PSRS, a San Diego boutique mortgage banking firm. After two years working as an analyst in support of senior producers, Rich decided to go “full commission” and exclusively focus on his own clientele. In 2018, at the age of 27, Rich was offered a Partnership opportunity at PSRS and became the youngest Principal in the history of the company.
New opportunities presented themselves and beginning in mid-2017, Rich started acquiring his own commercial assets. In 2022, he formed Catalyst as a holding company that today owns 190 apartment units, 13,000 SF of retail, and 18,000 SF of medical office. Rich acquired the assets via a mix of his own capital and joint venture equity from high net worth individuals.
Rich also has a 4-hour online boot camp that is designed to convert real estate agent or mortgage professionals into top 1% performers.
Rich allocates a lot of his time on Non-Profit projects based in Brazil.
